Emerging creative writers from the Arab world can apply for this grant.
Mophradat is offering grants to support writers from the Arab world working in the genres of contemporary fiction, nonfiction and poetry.
The participant would receive an amount determined by Mophradat based on the local living costs in the writer’s country of residence, and covers a period from one month up to three months depending on the writer’s need.
Applicants must have a publisher interested in their upcoming work and must be published writers with at least two previous publications (books, articles, essays, etc.).
Priority will be given to candidates who write in Arabic and are based in the Arab world.
The deadline is Feb. 1.
