Science journalists in Cameroon can sign up for this training.
The Réseau de journalistes scientifiques d’Afrique francophone (RJSAF), in collaboration with the Journalists Network for Maputo Action’s Plan (JNMAP), is accepting applications for a science writing training workshop. The workshop will be held July 11 to 12 at the Hotel Prodiges Yaoundé.
The workshop aims to equip participants with techniques specific to scientific writing, covering the mechanics of scientific writing, practical tools, methodology, and essential skills for effectively communicating science.
The training workshop revolves around the theme: "How to Write Science?"
Approximately 20 science journalists from various regions of Cameroon will be selected to participate in the workshop. The selection process will involve evaluating the applicants' files by a jury.
The organizers will fully cover the participation fees and catering expenses for selected participants.
The deadline is June 12.
