Journalists in Uganda can apply to participate in a workshop.
The African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME) is accepting applications for a workshop on reporting renewable energy and the productive use of solar energy. This workshop aims to equip Ugandan journalists with the necessary knowledge and skills to report on renewable energy sources.
Participating journalists will deepen their understanding of renewable energy technologies and their potential impact on Uganda’s development; gain the skills to critically analyze and report on PUSE initiatives, challenges and opportunities; learn innovative storytelling techniques to craft compelling narratives on this critical topic.
Fifteen journalists will be selected. Tuition and accommodation will be covered by ACME.
The workshop will be held May 20 to 24 at ACME in Kampala, Uganda.
The deadline is April 20.
