Journalists and researchers who are interested in migration and refugees can attend a workshop in Beirut, Lebanon.
Switch Perspective is seeking applications for a 10-day workshop on migration on September 4 to 15.
The workshop will be divided into two parts. The first week will include sessions, discussions, and an analysis of media reporting on migration and refugees. While in the second week, participants will get a chance to work on a topic of their own based on the work done during the first week.
The workshop is open to journalists, photographers, filmmakers, writers, academics, NGO workers, and civil society activists working with documenting, analyzing, or telling stories about migration in its various forms.
The working language in the workshop is English, with some sessions translated from Arabic to English.
The deadline for applications is May 5.
