Workshop on investigative journalism and security open [Mexico]

Journalists living or working in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, can participate in this workshop.

The Northern Border Investigative Journalism Hub of the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), in partnership with the Border Center for Journalists and Bloggers and with the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development, launches an in-person workshop on investigative journalism, data journalism and security protocols.

Participants will learn to request information using the Mexican National Transparency Platform, create databases, improve digital security, and explore reporting methods.

The workshop will be held on Sept. 1 and 2 and there will be an investigathon on Sept. 3.

The deadline is Aug. 25.
