Fundación Gabo, the Centre for Investigative Journalism (CIJ) and the Latin American Center for Investigative Journalism are organizing the online workshop "Digital investigations: ethics, methodology and tools", Oct. 25 to 29.
The training will cover investigative journalism in digital environments, verification methodologies and tools, data processing, open source intelligence (OSINT) and visualization. It will also address the most pressing ethical and security issues involved in investigative journalism.
The workshop will be led by Irving Huerta and María Teresa Ronderos.
Twelve candidates will be selected. The course is free of charge.
The deadline is Sept. 27.
