CIESPAL and OIME are organizing the workshop "Communicating Human Rights with a Gender Perspective," which will take place in 20 sessions starting Oct. 23.
The aim of the workshop is to examine media production, including both traditional and independent outlets, through the lenses of gender and human rights in order to design research methodologies and create narratives from counter-hegemonic and diverse perspectives.
The workshop will be divided into four modules which will explore gender perspective in media communication, power and hate speech, strategies and best reporting practices, research methodologies, and more.
