Climate Tracker is organizing "Gaslighting: Disinformation on Energy Transition in Latin America and the Caribbean," a series of four in-person trainings and one virtual session taking place in May.
During these sessions, participants will explore how disinformation narratives operate in the region, gain access to a practical guide with tools to identify and counter misleading narratives, and connect with experts and other professionals committed to journalism and climate action.
The in-person events will be held in Quito on May 7, Bogotá on May 8, Buenos Aires on May 15, and São Paulo, Brazil on May 19. The online session will be held on May 29.
Participation is free of charge. The deadline to register for any of the workshops is May 4.
