Journalists can register to attend an online interactive workshop.
The Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI) at the University of Missouri, in partnership with the Trans Journalists Association (TJA), is hosting the workshop “Beyond the ‘culture war’: How to cover trans issues well in an election year.”
This three-hour workshop will help journalists understand the cross-beat complexities of news stories relevant to trans communities and their access to healthcare, education and public accommodations.
The workshop will be held Feb. 28.
The registration fee is US$35.
