India-based communicators interested in renewable energy issues can apply for this three-day workshop in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is hosting a workshop on renewable energy in Lucknow from July 14 to 16 to strengthen the skills of communicators to research and report on renewable energy issues in India.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with researchers, subject experts, policymakers and communities, and deepen their understanding of the promises and obstacles in India's transition to renewable energy. The workshop will also include a field trip to a location with a renewable energy facility.
The cost of travel, accommodation and meals of selected participants will be covered by the organizers.
Applications are open to communicators based in India from print, online, radio and television outlets. Women and early- and mid-career professionals are particularly encouraged to apply.
