Women's Edition Workshop covers reproductive health [West Africa]

Posted on Apr 1, 2019 in Diversity

Experienced women journalists are invited to attend a regional workshop covering reproductive health, population and development issues.

The Population Reference Bureau (PRB) is organizing this workshop June in Dakar, Senegal, as part of the Women’s Edition program, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

The workshop will focus on the commitment of religious leaders in the West African region to promote reproductive health and the well-being of women and families. Participants will have access to the latest information on reproductive health and development issues, so they can better cover these topics.

After the seminar, journalists are expected to produce in-depth reports, series of articles or radio productions on the themes of the workshop. The authors of the best stories will be invited to attend seminars and study tours in 2020 to learn more about reproductive health, population and development.

PRB will cover travel, accommodations and meals.

The deadline is April 19.
