Professional and amateur photographers can enter this contest.
Wiki Loves Africa is an annual contest, hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation, where people across Africa can contribute photos about their environment to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the foundation.
This year, the competition seeks submissions about the theme "health and wellness," which can encompass any factors that contribute to health and wellness.
The first, second and third place winners will receive US$1,000, US$800 and US$500. Two other categories –culturally specific or traditional representations of health and wellness and best quality video – offer a US$500 prize each.
The deadline is April 15.
