The 7th Asia-Pacific Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action, hosted by the Anticipation Hub and supported by the German Federal Foreign Office, will take place in two parts: an in-person meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal, from June 13 to 15, followed by a series of online sessions and community conversations.
The first online session, "Regional anticipatory action dialogue", will be hosted on June 20 and features a multistakeholder discussion on the current state of disaster preparedness, response and anticipatory action in the region. It will showcase how OpenStreetMap supports anticipatory action efforts and solutions.
The second online session, "Highlights from the 7th Asia-Pacific Dialogue Platform", will be hosted on June 28 and features a community conversation on the main themes, outcomes and action points from the in-person meetings. Participants will be invited to contribute their own ideas, lessons and experiences to the sessions.
