The East-West Center is hosting a webinar with Ambassador Nicholas Burns, the U.S. Ambassador to China, on the State of U.S.-China Relations on March 14. It is the latest installment of the Center's China Seminars series.
In this webinar, Ambassador Burns will share his thoughts on the current state of U.S.-PRC bilateral relations 45 years after the establishment of full diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Burns was a Goodman Professor of the Practice of Diplomacy and International Relations at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government between 2008 and 2021 and has had a long career in American diplomacy, serving six presidents and nine secretaries of state.
Participants can submit questions for Ambassador Burns by March 10.
