Climate Strategies is hosting the online webinar "Bridging Justice and Adaptation: Synergies between Just Transitions and the Global Goal on Adaptation," on July 25. The webinar explores the intersections of justice and adaptation.
The event will emphasize the need for inclusive adaptation strategies in line with principles for just transitions, highlighting the importance of ensuring just resilience at a global scale. Speakers will discuss challenges in integrating justice into adaptation planning, strategies to protect vulnerable groups, how policymakers can incorporate just transitions into climate adaptation at all levels, and opportunities for international collaboration to mainstream these principles.
