Journalists interested in practicing antiracism in their everyday work can attend this free webinar.
The National Press Club will host the webinar "What would antiracist journalism look like?" at 11:30 a.m. EDT on Aug. 21.
Topics include how the default frame of journalism/journalists is not neutral or objective; how to reframe the way journalism works so it’s actively antiracist; and how to broaden reach and audience by working more inclusively with the community.
The panelists are Leah Donnella, editor on NPR's Code Switch team; Cassie Hayes, co-executive director for Resolve Philadelphia; and Robert Samuels, national political reporter for The Washington Post.
Registration is ongoing.
