The Washington Post seeks journalists [Africa, Asia, Brazil, US]

The Washington Post is hiring an Americas editor, a Brazil correspondent, a West Africa bureau chief, an Asia news editor and more.

The Americas editor will provide leadership of its expanding coverage of Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada. Apply by Dec. 14.

The Brazil correspondent will be a versatile reporter who will have significant experience in reporting from Latin America and strong Spanish- and/or Portuguese-language skills. Apply by Dec. 21.

The West Africa bureau chief will most likely be based in Dakar, Senegal, and be responsible for covering Nigeria, Mauritania, Chad, Mali, Niger, Ghana and Ivory Coast. Apply by Dec. 28.

The Asia news editor will be the point person on breaking news from the region. Responsibilities will include news editing, crafting initial versions of breaking stories and writing pieces about subjects capturing digital attention. Apply by Jan. 4, 2019.
