Editors across Asia can nominate candidates in their newsrooms for this training program in Singapore.

Funded by the Temasek Foundation, The World Editors Forum Asia Chapter, the regional network in Asia for editors within the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), is hosting the hybrid training program "Journalism in the Age of Pandemics 2.0" to support media skills development in covering science-related issues.

The program will begin with three 90-minute online masterclass sessions starting Sept. 14. Selected participants will then take part in a one-day in-person masterclass in Singapore as well as the three-day World One Health Congress – Temasek Foundation Pinnacle Series on Health Care for Asia, Nov. 7 to 10.

The program covers all travel and accommodation costs for selected applicants.

Interested journalists should have at least five years of work experience in journalism, and be currently working and based in the Asia Pacific. Each news organization may nominate up to two representatives. Acceptance of the second nominee is subject to available places.

Nominate by Aug. 31.
