Women journalists in Lebanon can apply for this initiative.
WAN-IFRA is accepting applications from Lebanon for its Social Impact Reporting Initiative, which aims to support the work of journalists and media to bring the stories of vulnerable or marginalized communities to the mainstream, and help connect these communities to mainstream media.
The support program offers up to EUR2,000 in sponsorship for reporting assignments and projects focusing on social impact.
Applicants can suggest any type of story, series of stories, reports, or descriptive stories, in any format (print, podcast, video, etc.). Topics should cover gender equality and gender issues, gender-based violence, poverty and social care, general interest and investigative topics, or health and safety.
The deadline is Jul. 1.
