The U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is hiring an international broadcaster for the Pashto in the Afghan Service. USAGM is a multimedia, multicultural, global media agency that carries out all United States civilian international broadcasting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conceiving, planning, researching, writing and broadcasting original audio/video scripts of a highly complex nature and for providing internet content for websites.
Interested applicants must have knowledge and comprehension of Afghan and South Asia history and culture, and awareness of political, economic, and social developments in the region.
Applicant must be U.S. citizens.
