The Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa hosts an essay competition highlighting peace and security challenges faced across the continent.
This year's theme is “Political dynamics in the horn of Africa: nurturing the emerging peace trends.” Essays must be written in English or French.
The authors of the three winning essays will attend the Tana Forum on May 4 and 5 in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. They will also receive mentorship from experts based at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS).
The deadline is Feb. 28.
