Journalists are invited to submit pitches of underreported stories with global relevance.
Unbias the News is accepting local, person-centered stories that impact people across multiple boundaries, including national and other imaginary borders.
Applicants will be able to take part in free digital journalism training and peer-to-peer networking, regardless of whether their story pitch was accepted.
Selected journalists will receive EUR250 (US$294) for personal narratives, op-eds and shorter pieces or EUR500 (US$588) for long reads, multimedia and investigations.
Intermediate English is required.
The deadline is April 18.
