Journalists who are interested in global health issues can apply for a fully-funded press trip.
The United Nations Foundation is accepting applications for a press fellowship focusing on polio eradication.
Selected fellows will participate in a virtual polio training session and receive funding to travel to a country at the forefront of polio eradication. Preference will be given to reporters interested in traveling to the following high-priority countries: Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Mozambique, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen.
Journalists from all countries are encouraged to apply. Up to six fellows will be selected and they will receive up to US$10,000 to cover reporting costs.
The deadline is Jan. 1, 2024.
