Journalists who are interested in global health issues can apply for a fully-funded press trip.
The United Nations Foundation is accepting applications for a press fellowship focusing on polio eradication.
Selected fellows will participate in a virtual polio training session and receive funding to travel to a country at the forefront of polio eradication. Preference will be given to reporters interested in traveling to the following high-priority countries: Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Niger, Madagascar and Mozambique.
Journalists from all countries are encouraged to apply. Selected fellows will receive up to US$10,000 to cover reporting costs.
The deadline is Jan. 3, 2025.
