Journalists, curators and researchers can apply for this fellowship in India.
Mophradat is accepting applications for the Orbitals fellowship, which takes three to four curators to an international location to meet and share their experiences with peers.
The next trip will take place Oct 12 to 23. The curators will travel first together to New Delhi, visiting artists and curators as well as local art institutions and initiatives. Next, the group with travel by train for a two-day seminar in Chandigarh, bringing them to the city’s main architectural sites to explore this renowned modernist urban model, and how it relates to and influences contemporary cultural production.
Mophradat will cover airfare, insurance, accommodations, a per diem and visa costs.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in a field of contemporary art, work in the nonprofit/non-commercial sector and demonstrate prior experience working on international projects, exchange, or collaboration in their home country or abroad.
The deadline is June 14.
