Twelve journalists will be selected for the program, which takes place October 2023 to June 2024 and includes a series of online training sessions and a final in-person workshop in April 2024.

Participants will also receive story grants and mentoring.

Experienced journalists with a track record of producing in-depth and/or investigative work on the environment, wildlife and conservation are encouraged to apply. Candidates interested collaborating with Asian journalists to explore environmental crime markets are desirable.

Applications will only be accepted in English.

The deadline is Sept. 25.
