Journalists and journalism and media students in the Arab Gulf countries can apply to participate in this training.
The Center for Defending Freedom of Journalists organizes a training program to develop the skills and knowledge of journalists and distinguished journalism and media students in the Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait.
The training, which is expected to start in April, targets young journalists with no more than seven years of experience. It seeks to build their skills in writing news and journalistic reports, dealing with sources and paying attention to ethical standards in journalism.
The training will be divided into two phases. The first of which will last 15 days and will be delivered via an online training platform. The second phase will take place in Germany, where a group of participants will be selected based on a number of criteria, including their commitment to attending training sessions and completing tasks.
