Journalists, 18 to 35, based in Nigeria with an interest in climate storytelling can apply for a course.
Diaspora Africa Migration Media Hub, in collaboration with IOM Nigeria, offers the training course “Reporting Climate Migration in Africa.” The course will help participants develop climate migration stories that are simple, powerful and accurate, and resonate with the lives of their audiences.
Through this course, journalists will gain awareness, understanding and science-based insights on migration and climate change in Nigeria and Africa.
The two-day training will be held in Lagos, July 9 to 10.
Lagos participants will receive transport reimbursements for the training. Lunch will be served.
The deadline is May 30.
