Training focuses on investigative journalism [Uganda]

Journalists who have at least two years of experience can apply for this program.

The African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME) organizes a fellowship program on investigative journalism for Ugandan journalists.

The program features a five-day training workshop and networking meetings with media owners and managers. 

The next training will be in Mbale Nov. 22 to 26, followed by Lira on Dec. 13 to 17.  

Participants will learn how to use investigative tools to uncover information, how to ask meaningful questions and how to source material, the most effective way to structure and present their stories and more.

The deadline for the next training in Lira is Nov. 29.
