The Inter American Press Association, Bolivia's Journalism Foundation and Proyecto Desconfío of Argentina launch a new edition of the Summit on Disinformation on Sept. 18-19.
This year's edition will spotlight efforts in strengthening democracy against disinformation, in media strategies to counter misleading narratives, in innovation and artificial intelligence, and in media education and literacy. Speakers include representatives from more than 40 organizations dedicated to combating disinformation, including JournalismAi, the Journalism Trust Initiative, and the International Fact-Checking Network.
The summit is online and free of charge.
