Journalists ages 18 and 30 who practice solutions journalism can win cash prizes.
Reporteurs d'Espoirs, with support from Fondation du Crédit Mutuel, hosts the third edition of the European Young Reporter Awards in order to encourage solutions journalism in French across Europe.
The contest will accept story pitches covering societal problems and the solutions that contribute to an inspiring, united and sustainable society.
Six prizes will be awarded: three prizes of EUR500 to EUR2,500 for young people from non-French-speaking European countries; three prizes of of EUR500 to EUR2,500 for young people from French-speaking European countries (Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg).
The deadline is June 30.
