Journalists can apply for grants of up to US$5,000 to support environmental reporting.
The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) is accepting applications for proposals on two topics: environment-climate-religion connections, and environmental health and justice in the United States.
Applicants are encouraged to participate in the webinars covering each grant. The first webinar will focus on the Environmental Health and Justice Story Grants on 1 p.m. EDT May 11, followed by the webinar on environment-climate-religion connections on 1 p.m. EDT on May 18.
Both SEJ members and non-members are able to apply for the grants, as long as their work is within the journalism field. Non-members must pay a US$40 application fee.
The deadline is June 15.
