Journalists can apply for grants of up to US$5,000 to support environmental reporting.
The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) is accepting applications for the 2020 Rapid Response Grants.
Proposals may focus on on conservation or climate in North America; water quality and availability in the United States; the Mississippi River Basin; or oceans and coasts globally. The total amount requested cannot exceed US$2,500 per individual or U$5,000 per team.
Both SEJ members and non-members are able to apply for the grants, as long as their work is within the journalism field. Non-members must pay a US$40 application fee.
