SMEX, a non-profit organization that advocates for and advances human rights in digital spaces across West Asia and North Africa, is seeking a Short Film Producer to lead the production of a short film (15 minutes max) that focuses on feminist activism in the digital space.
The film will highlight the experiences of online feminist activists as they confront societal, cultural and political challenges.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or be currently pursuing a degree in fine arts, communications, film production, cinematography, multimedia journalism or any other relevant university degree, and prior experience in producing short films or documentaries, particularly those related to social issues or advocacy.
Previous experience in all aspects of film production, including pre-production, direction and post-production editing is required.
