Photographers from Southeast Asia can submit their work and compete for the SIPF Open Call Award.
The Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is seeking applications from international artists for its ninth edition of the festival, to be held in Singapore from Oct. 18 to Nov. 24. SIPF is an international platform which aims to promote the arts and the appreciation of photography arts in Southeast Asia.
SIPF's Open Call aims to discover fresh works in the field of image-making and photography from the international arts community. Shortlisted open call submissions will be presented in the SIPF Open Call Showcase.
Open call artists have the opportunity to actively participate in SIPF's programming, such as artist tours and talks. Travel and accommodation are to be arranged independently by shortlisted artists.
Participating photographers can compete for the SIPF Open Call Award. Cash prizes will be disbursed to the creators of the submitted works. Best Portfolio Award, Best Published Photobook Award and Best Dummy Photobook Award will each receive a SGD2,000 cash prize, while Public's Favorite Photobook Award will receive a SGD1,000 cash prize.
Submit by May 10.
