Journalists, photographers, videographers and advanced journalism students can apply for a program in Spanish.

Simbiosis, a journalism training program by Gatopardo and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, are organizing a reporting residency, July 4 to 22, in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.

During their stay, participants will work on multimedia stories and will receive feedback and editorial support from the Simbiosis team. To apply, candidates must submit a reporting pitch focusing on the Yucatan Peninsula and its problems.

Participants are expected to finish the residencies with a story that can be published in Gatopardo magazine, as well as translated and published in international outlets.

The deadline to apply is April 15.
