Lebanese directors or residents in Lebanon can submit their works to compete in this short film festival in Beirut.
The Waste Management Coalition, in collaboration with Rural Encounters on Environment and Film and Beirut DC, is accepting submissions on the theme of waste and its impact on human life and nature.
Eligible entries include short documentary, fiction film, or animation (up to 5 minutes). The selected films will be screened in the Reef Film Festival 2021 and online.
The competition will award US$1,500 for the first prize, US$1,000 for the second prize and US$750 for audience choice.
English subtitles are required for all submissions.
The deadline is June 15.
