Arab writers who are residents in the United Arab Emirates are invited to apply for this forum.
Sharjah film platform pitching forum is offering a scriptwriter an opportunity to win AED 200,000 (US$54,000) in order to turn his/her script into a feature film.
The live pitching forum will be held at Sharjah Art Foundation on Nov. 26, 2021. After the event, one winning scriptwriter will be selected to receive the prize to realize his film in the following year.
Candidates must submit a full, completed draft of the script (minimum 75 pages long) with a budget summary or financial plan for how the funds will be used.
The deadline is Sept. 18.
