SembraMedia, in partnership with the Google News Initiative (GNI), launches the global Project Oasis directory and report: a research effort to more deeply understand independent digital native news organizations across the world.
On July 30, at the Google offices in Buenos Aires and via streaming, the global directory of the Oasis Project will be presented, along with the results of its first world report. This report is based on detailed survey responses from more than 3,000 independent digital media outlets from 68 countries in Europe and Latin America. In the next phase, the project will expand to Asia and Africa.
