Self-directed course covers strategies against online harassment [Worldwide]

The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas has made its free course "Online harassment: strategies for journalists’ defense" available in a self-directed format.

Developed in partnership with the International Women's Media Foundation, the training features four modules including an introduction to online harassment, understanding privacy, trolls and their strategies, and digital security steps to counter online harassment.

The instructor are Arzu GeybullaCatherine GicheruEla Stapley and Myra Abdallah.

The course is accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Participants can complete the course at any time.
