Screenwriters and filmmakers in Egypt can apply to attend this free workshop.
“MedFest Egypt,” in collaboration with the British Embassy in Egypt, seeks applications to attend the “From Script to Screen” workshop to develop short film scripts.
Eight short film projects will be selected to attend the program, which will last for three months. Participants will work with a script consultant to develop their projects, in addition to developing the participants’ narrative skills and cinematic vision.
Two projects will receive production grants, provided that the film is produced within one year of obtaining the grant.
The deadline for applications is May 15.
