Science journalists interested in publishing their work are invited to submit proposals for feature articles.
Science for the People is collecting content for its upcoming Winter 2021 issue, “Cooperation: Theory and Practice for the Commons.” This issue is expected to contribute to substantiating and reclaiming cooperation as a concept to guide the work of scientists and as praxis for social change.
Article submissions must relate to one of the following themes: the science of cooperation, cooperative endeavors in science, or the critical history and political economy of cooperatives, collectivization, mutual aid and other non-capitalist enterprises.
To apply, journalists must submit a detailed outline of their articles.
Journalists will be paid US$250 for each feature story with 2,000 words or more.
Proposals can be submitted in English or Spanish.
The deadline for submissions is Aug. 25.
