School of Data organizes course in data journalism [Brazil]

Journalists, social scientists, students and others interested in creating data-based stories can attend this course.

The Brazilian chapter of School of Data organizes an introductory course on data journalism Sept. 26 to 28 in Salvador and Oct. 17 to 19 in Fortaleza.

The course will address the main techniques and tools used in data extraction and analysis in order to produce captivating stories. The instructor is Juan Torres, innovation editor at newspaper Correio, Abraji director and former ICFJ fellow.

Registration is open, but spots are limited. The cost is BRL450. Discounts are available.
