News leaders in Sub-Saharan Africa can apply for scholarships to participate in an online leadership program.
The Google News Initiative (GNI) is supporting the University of Central Lancashire’s Journalism Innovation and Leadership Program (JIL) by offering 30 scholarships, of which 15 scholarships are available for participants from Sub-Saharan Africa.
The 2023 JIL program offers a 30-week part-time, postgraduate certificate and a two-year master's of arts course.
Participants are also eligible for travel grants to join the intensive learning block in Cape Town, South Africa.
The deadline is Nov. 15.
