Journalists who worked on at least one story on issues of transparency and integrity can apply for this conference scholarship.

The 14th International Congress of Investigative Journalism will take place June 27 to 29 in São Paulo.

In partnership with Transparency International, the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji) is organizing a special program to stimulate investigative journalism at the local level.

Ten journalists from the five administrative regions of Brazil will be chosen to attend the congress. They will also meet with Marcelo Beraba, first president of Abraji; a representative of Transparency International; and an organizer of the Atlas da Notícia, an initiative that maps local journalism and news deserts in Brazil.

Selected journalists will receive travel, accommodation and conference tickets.

The deadline is May 8.
