Science writers, journalists and students in the United Kingdom can apply for a scholarship to attend a conference.
The Association of British Science Writers is offering diversity scholarships to attend the UK Conference of Science Journalists 2024 (UKCSJ24). The conference provides science journalists and writers with a unique opportunity for professional development and networking.
The conference will be held in London on Oct. 15. Scholarships cover registration, travel and accommodation.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet one of the following diversity criteria: be from a Black and/or other minority group within the UK; have a disability as defined in the UK Equality Act of 2010; be a carer; or live in a region included in the 'most deprived 20 percent' of your government's index of multiple deprivation (IMD) database.
The deadline is July 31.
