The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of a vibrant region covering 23 countries, a keen eye for spotting trends, and the ability to write fast, groundbreaking, and insightful stories on a wide range of topics from political upheavals to Islamist insurgencies, climate change and energy, to the latest cocoa crop in the Ivory Coast and Ghana, and more.
Applicants must be fluent in English and French and have some experience in managing a news team.
