Journalists based anywhere in Africa, who are interested in covering illicit finance, can apply to attend a workshop.
Thomson Reuters Foundation is offering a workshop on reporting on illicit financial flows in Sub-Saharan Africa. This intensive workshop covers illicit finance, reporting on companies, accounts and budgets, and investigative techniques.
Participants will propose one or more story ideas to work on during the program. They will receive US$1,000 to assist with their stories.
The workshop will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, April 21 to 25.
Interested journalists must have at least two years of professional experience and fluency in English.
The deadline is March 31.
