The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism will host a series of weekly seminars on global journalism May to June on Zoom as part of its Journalist Fellowship Program.
Guests will explore the news media’s role in covering major elections including in the EU, South Africa and the U.S. Journalists will share how they encouraged their newsroom to shift away from a Eurocentric lens or furthered sustainability in the industry they cover.
In addition, participants will discuss how AI can be used effectively in newsrooms and the challenges it presents.
The weekly sessions will run May 1 to June 26.
