Journalists and researchers based in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and in the Dominican Republic can apply to these grants.

Climate Tracker is accepting applications from journalists and researchers to analyze the media coverage on energy transition.

The monthlong program will select 12 professionals. They will receive training in media analysis, news reporting and energy transition. Then, they will work on identifying the main hurdles journalists and editors face when reporting on energy transition.

The program may be extended for another two months and the participants may join a regional investigation on the topic.

Ideal candidates must be up to 35-years-old and have previous experience in the topic, either in news coverage or in academic research.

The application deadline is Nov. 10.
