Nigerian journalists can apply for a one-day hybrid workshop.
Mental Health KAFE (MHKAFE), in collaboration with the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), is hosting a mental health reporting workshop. The workshop seeks to improve the quality of mental health reporting in accordance with the journalism standards and integrity within Nigeria.
The workshop will equip media professionals on how to better report mental health issues equitably, holistically and ethically.
In addition, the workshop will provide a mental health toolkit designed for the Nigerian context and address the unique challenges and issues faced by media professionals covering sensitive mental health issues within the country.
The deadline is July 16.
